A lot of Toronto commuters are often lost in thought. It's fun trying to imagine their life's story and what they are thinking in that particular moment. This is part of the 1000strangers project.

On August 16, 2001, I started a personal illustration project entitled 1000strangers. The goal was to illustrate a different stranger every day. Each study was sketched out with a black ball point pen and white gel pen on brown recycled paper. I hope to complete 1000 sketches one day.
