Happy Chinese New Year! Seeing how my new year's resolution was to draw more this year, I figured I'd also start sharing my sketches as well. Here's the first of many more new daily 1000strangers sketches in 2011!

:: welcome stranger ::
On August 16, 2001, I started a personal illustration project entitled 1000strangers. The goal was to illustrate a different stranger every day. Each study was sketched out with a black ball point pen and white gel pen on brown recycled paper. I hope to complete 1000 sketches one day.
